Coaching + Thought Partnership

Coaching & Thought Partnership

I don’t believe that changemaking is supposed to be a struggle. Yes - there’s a place for it (struggle is even a word synonymous with changemaking!), but too often we accept the idea that working for something meaningful - and in particular, for something socially good - means we’re supposed to labour through, exhausted, stretched or scarce.

Instead, I believe that our joy and wellbeing also serve the world. That our creativity - one of the greatest skills we can develop in a time of uncertainty- is served through our rest and play. That our bodies are the seeds of our highest hope, and if we want to create a more just, loving and regenerative world out there, we also need to figure out how to live it along the way.

I work with changemakers on a number of areas of support, but they tend to circle around three things:

  1. Your next step: I work with you to help you find what’s yours to do in this world - with the knowledge that that is always changing, there’s no one right answer, and sometimes ‘what’s yours’ is an outer step, and sometimes it’s an inner. This might look like ‘mapping out a plan’ or it might be some deep discovery into what truly matters to you right now - and how it fits into your life.

  2. To bring a new idea to life: This might be a movement, community initiative, a new career or something else. But if you’ve had a burning seed of idea inside you, I can help you work the idea, ensuring it’s well thought out, be a sounding board and reflective partner for what works or what doesn’t, and offer some groundedness to help it come to life.

  3. To embed real change: Real change can be hard - especially if you’re used to working in ways that are exhausting or extractive, that value the measured over the felt, or if you’ve never developed the skills to work with conflict or power (and let’s be real - most of us weren’t taught these!). But in working together we can explore and create the conditions for your thriving, and practice the leadership and life skills you need to navigate what’s hard.

Who’s a changemaker?

I use this term in the broadest sense of the word. A changemaker is anyone working for a more just, loving and regenerative world - in whatever form that takes. You might be an activist or social entrepreneur - or you might be a teacher, artist, parent, doctor, ethicist, faith worker or any other number of titles. If you believe in and pursue social good, reach out.

  • Working with Laura enabled me to slow down and look deeply at the sustainability of my habits. She connected me to a deeper understanding of my own needs and boundaries by creating space for me to reflect on my internal landscape amidst a chaotic time. I am so grateful to Laura for helping me navigate an enormous transition in my work life which will allow me to better resource myself—as a human, as a changemaker, as a healer—for the formidable challenges of this time.

  • Laura’s ability to see clearly and get to the crux of issues, and to remain focused while gently facilitating insights and epiphanies is quite extraordinary. Laura not only coached me on my life challenges, but also on my work with the NGO that I founded seven years ago. She managed to shine a light of clarity on how I could best present my personal journey, which allowed me to deliver amazing presentations.

  • I've had the pleasure of working with Laura for well over a year and cannot recommend her highly enough for changemakers who need support and encouragement. I've worked with multiple coaches from diverse perspectives and greatly value the safe and caring space that Laura creates to work through challenges and make progress on important goals. She brings curiosity, deep listening and encouragement to cut through the resistance and fears. She just gets it with her deep understanding of the issues that anyone trying to create positive change is likely to face. Her empathy and compassion shine through, as well as her focus on doing what needs to be done in practical ways. I've found her to be a wonderful and inspiring partner who is committed to making a positive impact through her work and her presence.

How it works

Option 1: Single Session (2.5 hour Deep Dive)

You can book directly or start with a free discovery call if you'd prefer to chat first.

Note: this can be online, or we can meet live in London.

Option 2: Coaching Partnership

In this coaching relationship we meet every 1-2 weeks for a 60 minute session, and typically we start with an agreement for 6-8 sessions.

Start with a free get-to-know-each-other call where we'll explore what you're looking for, what you're hoping to achieve, and whether we're a good fit to work together.

Investment: From £900.
